You can see very quickly in my file structure below that I placed all of my pictures into the year they were taken. I want to quickly show you how many photos that are on the hard drive. Over time, it's added up to about 85,544 different photos. Since 2003, I have organized all of my pictures into their respective folders into the year-based folders. And I created this catalog for you for this course because I just wanted to show you our very well adept Adobe Photoshop Lightroom when managing large amounts of photos. Now, this is, of course, my most recent catalog, which is the master catalog up here. When you open it up, it's going to look something similar to this. Along the way, I came across this software called Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. During that time, I had to find a way to manage all of that. Many photos also came from my photography business, which I started in about 2009, 2010. But along the way, since 2003, I have collected quite many photos. I don't know if your camera goes back that far, but it was a crappy two-megapixel camera, but you know what? It served my purpose, and I enjoyed it. Like you, I love photography, and I have been collecting my photographs since about 2003 when I had a Fuji fine pix 2650.
